Aha!!!

...I am actually back, and it only took me a couple weeks! We have moved into our new home - still lots to put away etc, and need to get a few things from the old place and do some clean up, but for all intensive purposes, here we are!!

Mark has been a little down, of course the day after we closed on the house (Dec. 15th) he was laid off from work (slow season - been there done that) so pretty scary with a nice big mortgage hanging over your head. He has been bored out of his mind -- not quite bored enough to actually finish up at the old place, or do much here! But, I tried the empathy for a couple days ** hey!! a couple days is all I can do without freaking out!!** Now am pretty much resigned to the fact that if I want everything done, it will be on my off time, or with his help at my request (bitching). Anyway, such is life!

Taking it easy right now, just doing some laundry and having a cup of coffee. The kids are out of school for the holidays, and they and their dad are still sleeping, so enjoying some quite time.

I need to run -- found my address book, and need to call my mother badly....it's been awhile, OK! It's been WAY to long. I'll update on her later........suffice to say for now, that it is hard for me to talk to her - very hard emotionally - but, that's not any excuse.....so going to call her now!
